Karella Easwaran puts her heart and soul into her practice for child and youth medicine in Cologne. Born in Ethiopia, she is not only concerned about the health and development of her young patients. As a doctor who practices holistically, she looks at the whole family, including the mothers, family burdens and stress factors. Karella Easwaran often communicates her helpful method of thinking (Beneficial Thinking), which helps parents to learn positive thinking and reduce stress and worries. The pediatrician completed her specialist training at the University of Cologne and also completed further training in naturopathic, nutritional and mind-body medicine.
Karella Easwaran stood in front of the camera with her expertise in the ZDF programme "Die Ärzte". In 2018 she wrote the bestseller "The Secret of Healthy Children" and became known through numerous appearances in the media. Since then, the paediatrician has been a household name in Germany, appearing on radio and television with her convictions and tips, giving lectures and moderating events. Her second book was published in August 2020.
The mother of two children lives with her husband in Cologne.
