Sara Bildau presents the cross-media "heute Xpress" programs at ZDF and is a member of the heute editorial team. Until fall 2021, the TV journalist hosted the Phoenix formats "phoenix der tag," "phoenix vor ort" and "phoenix plus. As part of phoenix election broadcasts, the political journalist will continue to be seen as a live reporter at party conventions and summits. Her credo is: to react spontaneously to world political events, explain relationships and analyse them with experts. Prior to this, she worked for several years for ZDF, mainly for "heute journal".
Sara Bildau studied media and communication economics and journalism in Ravensburg and Vlissingen (Netherlands) - with the aim of being close to people's issues and reporting for television. Raised with four sisters, it is understandable for the mother of two daughters that she is committed to equal opportunities and female executives. In addition, the woman from Düsseldorf is committed to teaching German to refugees and supports the German Red Cross - women's power with know-how for all cases!
