Charlotte Maihoff presents the main news programme "RTL Aktuell" in Cologne, alternating with Peter Klöppel and Maik Meuser. Until mid-2017, the TV journalist was in front of the camera for the "Tagesschau", the ARD (German Television) news channel "tagesschau24" and presented the "Nachtmagazin" on a representative basis. At her home station, the Saarländerin presented the SR news programme "aktuell" and the news block in the "aktuelle bericht". In the years before she gained a lot of radio experience at Europawelle Saar and Kulturradio, WDR and Deutschlandfunk. Charlotte Maihoff lives in Cologne.
After studying information science, French linguistics and business informatics at Saarland University, she graduated from the Henri Nannen School of Journalism in Hamburg. Charlotte is committed to education - at PLAN International and the Stiftung Lesen and is also a member of the German Society for the United Nations.
