Jörg Boecker presents the ARD magazine "Plusminus" since 2003 and informs the spectators regularly about topics around economics and consumer protection. He is also a moderator and reporter for the northern German TV newsmagazine "NDR aktuell". Since 2017 he has also been a member of the n-tv news moderator team. The humorous Rhinelander loves challenges and is oriented towards versatility.
Jörg was already interested in international contacts during his studies of communication and European studies. He first moved to The Hague (Netherlands) later on he studied in Tampere (Finland) and Magdeburg (Germany). The talented linguist had already worked as an interpreter and volunteer for the 1992 Olympic Winter Games in Albertville (France). With his faible for vintage cars and jazz, the passionate twin father ensures a colourful work-life balance. Jörg Boecker moderates panel discussions, press conferences, galas and events - also in English and Dutch.
