Silke Beickert is a member of the moderation team of "rbb24", "rbb UM6" and "Abendschau". The native Hessian presents the sports news with heart, charm and intellect at the Berlin TV station. She also hosts the RTL regional programme for Baden-Württemberg and Rheinland-Pfalz. The graduate theatre and media scientist made her media debut with an internship at Deutsches Anleger Fernsehen (DAF), became the flagship of the main news programmes "DAF Parkett" and "Börse Live" and also reported from the Frankfurt stock exchange for N24 (WELT). Afterwards she was one of the hosts of the sports news channel Sky Sport News HD.

 

Silke Beickert also feels at home on the event stage - moderating panel discussions, press conferences and events. She is a lecturer for moderation and interview training at the SRH University of Applied Sciences in Heidelberg. Since March 2023, she has also been leading seminars in the Sports Journalism and Media and Communications Management degree programs at Macromedia Frankfurt. She enjoys sports in her free time and in the colourful orchestra of musical instruments she loves and plays the trumpet. Silke Beickert lives near Frankfurt and in Berlin.
